LOCATION
Brac is the largest island on the Croatian coast and one of the sunniest locations in Europe. It’s adorned with serene villages and dramatic Mediterranean landscapes, ranging from steep cliffs to crystal clear waters and lush pine forests. The villas are about 90 minutes by boat from the Split airport. Specific travel details and logistics listed below.

Hike a trail that journeys through family groves to the acreage where the family's small batch brand of olive oil: Pipa EVOO is produced.
Along the way there will be discussion of all things local, historical, and agricultural. Your will learn about the health benefits of this sacred oil as well as how to taste properly and what to consider when finding the best oil to match your needs.
Once arriving, see first hand how Mariano and his family raise the trees and olive fruit with the most natural and organic means possible,
including their flock of sheep and chickens. Experience a tasting in the grove of this year's harvest - their limited 2023 reserve.
Learn about the quality, health benefits, and tasting of olive oil under the tree canopies that produce this miracle fruit.
Descend back to the little quaint village of Mirca enjoying panoramic sea views of the Adriatic -
with your very own bottle of Pipa EVOO in hand. We will be picked up near the church and shuttled back to our retreat property.

In an idyllic setting of the sun-soaked island of Brač, our seaside property for the week combines all of the modern comforts making you feel at home as soon as you set foot inside. The villa is located on the north side of the island in the charming village of Sutivan, making for an easy journey from Split International Airport.

The bathroom is located en suite across the hall and has a large soaking tub, shower, two sinks and a large walk-in closet. The suite also offers a large sea view terrace with a lounge area.

Hi!
I’m Cindy- a yoga therapist, fitness and yoga teacher, grandmother, aspiring yogi and a perpetual student. I love to explore new places and cultivate deeper relationships with others and with myself through yoga, meditation and travel. There is something so magical about stepping out of your daily routine to see things with fresh eyes!

I’ve been leading teacher trainings and teaching yoga and fitness around the World for over 20 years and I believe in practicing with curiosity, explorative movement and a sense of humor.
I would love you to join me in this journey to the beautiful island of Brac in Croatia where we will delve into yoga, strengthen our connection to one another, ourselves and the natural world. ( and have a lot of fun too !)
Each day will consist of 2 yoga practices (except on excursion day), meditation practice, and workshops on how to deepen and cultivate your own personal practice .
This will be an intimate group with a maximum of 14 people .
TRAVEL LOGISTICS & FAQ's
Which airport should I fly to?
Split International Airport (SPU) or Brac (BWK).
When do you recommend I fly in?
We recommend arriving 1-2 days prior to the retreat to allow for flight delays and adjusting to the time change.
Optional places to stay before retreat?
If you stay in Split (home to Diocletian's Palace, built in 300AD), we recommend Heritage Hotel 19 (link) or Hotel Ambassador (link).
If you would like to stay on Brac (our island), we recommend Puteus Palace (link) or Hotel Lemongarden (link).
How far is the retreat from the airport? What is the best way to get there?
The property is ~75 minute boat ride away from Split International Airport (SPU). If you fly into Split, we recommend selecting the group airport transfer via private boat as an add-on, as this is really the best way to arrive. You will have 360 degree views of the islands and far less transitions than dealing with a ferry and taxis. If you select the airport transfer, here's what you need to know in regards to booking your flights:

If you fly into Brac Airport, the drive to our property is approximately 25 minutes. Unfortunately Uber and apps like this don´t work in the island and the public transport is not very reliable, which is why we would recommend to book a private driver (get in touch with info@ritualretreats.co if you need one).
What time do we arrive and depart?
The retreat doors will open at 4:00PM on arrival day
Farewells will take place at 10:00AM on the day of departure.
How far is the property from the beach?
The property is first position to the water and has private sea access.
How is the weather in Croatia?
It's mostly warm and nice from mid-May to mid-October, however, and especially in the beginning and the end of the summer, it can be a bit unpredictable, with rains and chilly nights, bring some cozy layers of clothing.
Do I need to bring my yoga mat?
No, unless you prefer to do so. We have Manduka Pro mats so no need to have that extra weight during your trip.
Do I need to have experience to join this retreat?
It´s always good to be familiarized with yoga before coming however it´s absolutely not necessary to have previous experience to join a retreat. If you are starting your yoga journey, you will be amazed by how much you can learn in such a short amount of time.
Am I required to attend all of the yoga classes?
Absolutely not! This is YOUR time to do what feels right and honest for YOU. We encourage you to engage and attend as much as you desire.
Can I arrive earlier than the check in time?
Our team is working very hard the hours prior to your arrival to prepare everything for your stay, so check-in time is from 4pm and not before.
Do people ever attend alone?
100%, yes! It is very common for people to attend the retreats independently. The retreat is a great opportunity to connect deeper with yourself and make new connections with incredible humans!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits secure your spot on the trip and are not refundable or transferable. Refunds for the balance payments vary depending on timing. For cancellation requests submitted with more than 120 days of retreat date: 100% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded. For cancellation requests submitted within 120 days of retreat date, 50% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded. Cancellation requests within 90 days of the retreat: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions. Nobody books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance that would cover a cancelled retreat (note: as times become more turbulent, it's important to be prepared). Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including an act of God or Mother Nature, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, complete or for arriving late or leaving early.
