I am so excited to team back up with Ritual Retreats to bring you our 2024 Brac, Croatia Retreat. This magical island, nestled in the heart of the Adriatic, is absolutely breathtaking. With a grounding limestone foundation, surrounded by mountains, crystal clear water, and fresh coastal air, Brac truly feels like paradise. There is so much beautiful nature to enjoy, from the olive groves to the sea.
The intention for our 2024 retreat will be to soak up all that nature has to offer. Reconnecting back to the earth, finding freedom in the air, and flowing with the fluidity of the beautiful water that surrounds this island. In addition to our daily yoga practice, please join us for adventures around Brac and the surrounding islands, a hike to a family-owned olive oil grove, take unlimited dips in the sea, and enjoy connecting with the people around you.

Each guest will be provided with a Manduka yoga mat and block, which they will keep for the duration of the retreat and be responsible for its cleaning.
GROUP TRANSFER VIA PRIVATE SPEEDBOAT ON ARRIVAL DAY
We will have two pick-up locations on arrival day. The first pick-up will be at Split International Airport. The group will meet at 2:30 PM in the arrivals area (just outside of baggage claim). The second pick-up will meet around 3:30 PM just outside of Diocletian's Palace in Split at a cafe on the water (location here).
PRIVATE FAMILY OWNED OLIVE GROVE HIKE & TASTING + COOKING LESSON WITH CHEF ELA
Hike a trail that journeys through family groves to the acreage where the family's small batch brand of olive oil: Pipa evoo is produced. Along the way there will be discussion of all things local, historical, and agricultural.
Once arriving, see first hand how Mariano and his family raise the trees and olive fruit with the most natural and organic means possible, including their flock of sheep and chickens. Experience a tasting in the grove of this year's harvest - their limited 2021 reserve. Learn about the quality, health benefits, and tasting of olive oil under the tree canopies that produce this miracle fruit. Descend back to the little village of Mirca with panoramic sea views of the Adriatic Sea.
We'll return to our village and begin a cooking class with chef Ela, where we will incorporate and enjoy the olive oil in our recipes.

This is our largest bedroom in the villa. 3 beds available in this suite -- one king bed, which is shared -- and two individual rollaway beds -- making for 4 spots. This is a great option for a group of friends traveling together or for individuals looking for a more budget friendly option.
The bathroom is located en suite across the hall and has a large soaking tub, shower, two sinks and a large walk-in closet. The suite also offers a large sea view terrace with a lounge area.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits secure your spot on the trip and are not refundable or transferable. Refunds for the balance payments vary depending on timing. For cancellation requests submitted with more than 120 days of retreat date: 100% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded. For cancellation requests submitted within 120 days of retreat date, 50% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded. Cancellation requests within 90 days of the retreat: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions. Nobody books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance that would cover a cancelled retreat (note: as times become more turbulent, it's important to be prepared). Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including an act of God or Mother Nature, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, complete or for arriving late or leaving early.

ABOUT EDIE
Edie began deepening her yoga practice while studying anthropology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. During her time as a student, she found that an hour spent on her mat to untangle her thoughts was transformative and created space for balance between studies and self care. Motivated and inspired by the practice of yoga, she became an instructor in 2014 through Corepower Yoga obtaining her 200 Hour certificate. She continued to study and deepen her practice in Boulder completing trainings in yin yoga, yoga sculpt and Sean Corne’s Off the Mat, Into the World training.
She has spent a majority of her teaching career in New York City and Brooklyn focusing on vinyasa flow and restorative yoga. Since moving to NYC, Edie began teaching at Corepower Yoga and Y7 Studio, teaching classes, offering workshops, and facilitating teacher trainings. She has recently completed Exhale2Inhale’s Trauma Informed yoga teacher training and her 300 Hour certificate from Jason Crandell. She is now teaching at New Love City in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Edie offers a range of classes from dynamic and challenging flows that focus on strength and alignment to the softer side of yin yoga where you will experience turning your gaze inwards to gain clarity and insight to the subtle body. Her classes are always open level. All are welcome.
