It is with a full heart and an energy of pure excitement that I am announcing my first official retreat in Croatia in June 2024. This retreat will allow you to take time for yourself, to reset and to explore the beautiful island of Brac. Energy With Emily and Ritual Retreats will be taking you into an experience to deepen your Yoga, Qigong and Meditation practice and to get to know yourself and your energy on a whole new level. Picture days filled with practice, exploration, journaling, connecting, delicious food and joy filled fun. ABOUT BRAC, CROATIA
If your Mediterranean fantasies feature tranquil days by sapphire waters in the shade of ancient walled towns, Croatia is the place to be. Out of Croatia's 1,244 islands, the island of Brac is especially unique. Brac, often referred to as the Pearl of the Adriatic, is the largest island in Central Dalmatia (the Croatian Coast) and one of the sunniest locations in Europe. The island is adorned with several serene villages with limestone architecture, hilltop vineyards, ancient olive groves and dramatic Adriatic landscapes of steep cliffs, crystal clear waters, and lush pine forests.
Although Brac is famous for its radiant white limestone, used to build Diocletian’s Palace in Split, the island is most well-known for Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn), named one the Top 10 Most Beautiful Beaches in the World by Conde Nast Traveler. The beach extends like a "Golden Horn" into the Adriatic and has water framing two sides. The shape of the beach takes different forms depending on the wind.
In addition to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Brac is home to over one-million olive trees. Olive oil production runs deep in our blood and is steeped in the history and culture of our island.
We will be staying on the northern side of the island, in the seaside village of Sutivan.

Journey through family groves to the acreage where the Šore Family's small batch brand of olive oil: Pipa EVOO is produced. Along the way there will be discussion of all things local, historical, and agricultural.
Once arriving, see first hand how Mariano and his family raise the trees and olive fruit with the most natural and organic means possible, including their flock of sheep and chickens. Experience a tasting in the grove of this year's harvest - their limited 2022 reserve.
Learn about the quality, health benefits, and tasting of olive oil under the tree canopies that produce this miracle fruit. Descend back to the little village of Mirca with panoramic sea views of the Adriatic Sea.
We'll return to our village and begin cooking with chef Ela, where we will incorporate and enjoy the olive oil in our recipe.

Emily is a certified Yoga, Qigong and Meditation Teacher. Her mission is to help people use these amazing practices to heal and completely transform their life. Emily used to struggle with deep insecurity, an eating disorder, severe asthma and vertigo and these practices alone helped her to heal and create the life she has always wanted to live. Allow yourself to delve deep into these practices and see for yourself how you have the power to change your own life.
